Supporting homeless and vulnerable people in and around Maidstone, Kent UK

Maidstone Christian Care started in 1986 with the objective of supporting homeless and vulnerable people. The charity opened the first Maidstone Day Centre in 1995 in a ground floor flat at Lenworth House and in 2004 moved to 15 Knightrider Street. And it hasn't looked back since, far from it planning the successful future is what has ensured the decisions and made sure we go from strength to strength. Knightrider Street was a massive move requiring massive effort, none of it could have been achieved without the support of local churches. Today that strength and determination is even more important as Homeless Care makes the moves for the future it sees, serving the community and helping when things don't go right for so many people. Help wood and shelter are essential for survival for many.

We are supported by many churches in the area and have created a simple gift aid system, if you would like to help us siupport local people in need please make contact. Details are below. If you would like to see our latest newsletter - called Threshold, online then click download Threshold or go to www.maidstonedaycentre.org.uk or call 01622 674064 and we will mail one to you. If you would like a few to distribute in your church (or group) please let us know how many you would like.
