Support our Day Center & "Food For Thought" Food Bank

Your food donations help us provide vital meals and grocery parcels to individuals and families experiencing hardship and homelessness. Whether you drop off a single tin or a full shopping bag, you’re making a direct difference.

✅ What to Donate

Here’s a list of the most needed food items:

  • Fresh Produce (Vegetables, cheese, milk, fresh/cooked meats)

  • Tinned meals (stew, curry, pasta, soup etc.)

  • Tinned vegetables & fruit

  • Pasta, rice, and noodles

  • Cereal and long-life milk

  • Tea, coffee, sugar

  • Biscuits and snacks

  • Cooking sauces

  • Toiletries and hygiene products

🚪 Drop Off at Our Day Centre

Food donations can also be brought directly to our Day Centre:

Opening Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–4pm

Our team is always happy to receive your donations in person, and we’ll ensure everything is sorted and distributed to those in need.

🛒 Drop Off at Local Supermarkets

You can donate non-perishable food items at any of our Food For Thought donation bins, located at participating supermarkets across Maidstone.

Look out for our clearly marked food collection bins at:

  • Sainsbury’s Aylesford 

  • Sainsbury's Maidstone Town Centre 

  • Sainsbury's Loose Road 

  • Morrisons Larkfield 

  • Morrisons Sutton Road 

  • Waitrose Allington
