Help Us Make a Difference

The MHC Day Center depends on our community. Every act of kindness - from a donation to volunteering - helps keep this vital service running.

Here’s how you can make a difference:

  • 💷 Donate toward running costs - including repairs

  • 🧑‍🏫 Volunteer your time or skills - coaching, companionship, cooking, sorting donations, administration, event organising.

  • 🏢 Partner with us – nominate us as your Charity of the Year or offer pro bono support

What your support provides:

  • £5 provides a hot meal, a cup of tea, and access to shower and laundry facilities for one person.

  • £20 covers a support worker’s time to help someone apply for housing or benefits.

  • £50 covers the cost of heating and lighting the center for a full day, so people have a warm, safe place to go.

  • £100 funds an entire day of support services for up to 20 people, including meals, casework, and facilities.

Your support changes lives. Just ask Caroline - after suffering a stroke that left her unable to work, she found herself facing homelessness. Thanks to the warm welcome, practical help, and ongoing support she received at our day center, Caroline is now rebuilding her life and moving forward with hope.

Together, we can restore dignity, offer hope, and rebuild lives.
