Life Skills Centre
Based at Knightrider St, we offer:
1. emergency respite from the street – a shower, hot meal, and laundry available while our team connect rough sleepers to the appropriate support services
2. create individual support plans – to put bespoke action plans in place to help people transition away from rough sleeping or temporary accommodation
3. life skills courses – to give those in temporary accommodation the tools to find work and a permanent home
What support can you access?
Some of the support we provide when we are able to offer a full service.

At the end of the session we will provide a pack up of sandwiches, fruit and a drink.
Once the practical needs have been met, our staff can help with claiming benefits and dealing with problems such as health issues, obtaining identity documents and finding accommodation.
We can offer you someone to talk to, someone who understands.
Maidstone Homeless Care is a friendly and informal place where everyone can feel safe, so there are just a few rules.
Clients may not bring in drugs or alcohol or be abusive by swearing or making racial, sexual or other offensive remarks.
If anyone turns up under the influence of drugs or alcohol they will not be admitted but asked to come back the next day, if they are then in a fit state.
Our aim is to provide comfort and support to all who come through our doors and the opportunity for a brighter future.
Amazing, a joy to come to meet the staff and pals here, Hygiene, food, laundry showers impeccable. I love it.
